wellasitsnaturalacousticenvironment–allplayableinreal-timewith

Earlierattemptstodigitallysampletheoriginalsoundofapipeora
pipe-family(a“stop”)employedsmallsampleswhichwereartificially
looped,oftenwithouttheiroriginalattackphases,andthecharacteristic
soundofthepipeswaslost.Thesolutionwastoemploythepatented
EndlessWavetechnology(exclusivelylicensedtoNemeSysbyConexantSystems,
Inc.).ViaEndlessWave,digitalsamplescanbestreamedfromamassstorage
devicesuchasaharddiskwithouttheusuallatencyaccesstime
restrictionsofmassstoragemedia.

Additionally-duetothenatureofpreviousdigitalsamplingprocesses-
theacousticresonancesofagivenspace,liketheSt.Madeleine,arelost
,requiringtheadditionofreverbsimulations.Usingthekeyrelease-
